Mango & Turmeric Smoothie for Healthy Digestion

A golden smoothie made with mango, turmeric, and ginger, with ingredients chosen to support digestion and provide antioxidant-rich plant compounds.

Why It’s Good for Digestion

This smoothie isn’t just about flavor. It’s built to work with your body’s natural rhythm.

Turmeric and ginger contain bioactive compounds studied for their anti-inflammatory effects, while ginger also supports healthy gastric motility.

Mango provides fiber along with amylase enzymes, which help break down carbohydrates.

Hemp seeds bring omega-3 fatty acids and prebiotic fiber to feed good gut bacteria.

And a spoonful of yogurt or kefir (dairy-free if needed) introduces probiotics — the friendly microbes that keep digestion smooth and bloat at bay.

The result: balanced energy, better nutrient absorption, and a ritual that feels as nourishing as it tastes.

Pro Tip: Don’t skip the black pepper. Piperine, a compound in black pepper, can significantly increase the bioavailability of curcumin, one of turmeric’s key active compounds.
